Earthwrom Lab - Full Lab Write Up

Structure and Function: A major theme in biology is the idea of structure and function. Please research this topic to explain it and apply it to the structures and functions of the earthworm. Make sure to use your observations and research of your subject, Lumbricus terrestris, in your lab write up. Also, reconcile the ideas of shape and structure of the earthworm with the need for adaptations, that allow it to exhibit ALL characteristics of a living thing, and link that those to its' natural habitat. Although the specimen in this lab was not being observed in its natural habitat, your data only reflects a partial view of the biology of this organism, you can still draw conclusions, and support these with researched, accredited sources. The observations for the lab and the research preformed after will give you insight into some natural behaviors and WHY they have evolved.
